RADIOFEST 2007 OLD EQUIPMENT CONTEST

Contest Award Categories
This year, the Club's 26th. year, the theme for the Contest was oddly enough, "Themed Radios."

1: Best Restoration - Restoration of vintage equipment made before 1960 (Radio, TV, or related).

2: Best New Construction Project - Best reproduction or original construction of a radio or television.

3: Best Radio Costing under $20 - Any radio purchased by the collector for under $20.

4: Televisions - Any Television receiver made before 1970.

5: Communications Receivers - Any ham radio or communications receiver made before 1970.

6: Catalin Type Radios - Any radio made with Catalin, bakelite or other specialty plastic.

7: Pre-1930s Radios - Radios or communications devices made before 1930.

8: Radios of the 1940s & 50s - Non-Catalin type radios made between 140-1960.

9: Radios After 1960 - Non-Catalin type radios made after 1960.

10: Speakers - Any radio related speakers or horns.

11: Open Category - You pick the theme here.

12: 1930s Radios - Radios or communication devices made between 1930 and 1939.
